Directions:
Alpen Rose Inn is
located in the town of Leavenworth Washington USA. Leavenworth is located in
Central Washington State (also called Eastern Washington State, as is most
any place east of the Cascade Mountains) on State Highway 2, about 120 miles east of Seattle, WA
and 180 miles west of Spokane, WA. We are also about one hour away from
Interstate 90, and believe it or not, the drive time between Seattle and
Leavenworth is about the same for either route.
If you enter Leavenworth from the west on Highway 2, take the
first right turn (south) onto Icicle Road at the Union 76 Service Station as soon as you
enter the valley from Tumwater Canyon. Proceed south on Icicle Road about 200 yards/meters
to Alpine Place and turn left (east). Alpen Rose Inn is at the east end of Alpine Place,
about 100 yards/meters.
If you enter Leavenworth from the east on Highway 2, stay on the
highway through town (we have three traffic lights now!) to the Union 76 Service Station
on the left. Turn left (south) on Icicle Road and follow the directions above.
